Members MUST Have An Established GHIN Handicap

If those wishing to enter the Ft. Worth Tee Times Tour League do not have an established GHIN handicap, one will be awarded to them based on their previous 20 rounds and will undergo immediate review from the Handicap Committee. The Handicap Committee is also there to monitor and investigate any sandbagging in the league in order to ensure fair play. Any disputes to a personal or another player’s handicap must be submitted to the Handicap Committee for review. Any change to a player’s handicap, due to not having an established GHIN, will be subject to appeal by the player. The appeal must be submitted to the Handicap Committee five (5) days before the upcoming tournament.

TOURNAMENT RULES:

  • Each individual plays their own ball from tee-to-hole on all 18 holes.

  • If you are out of contention on a hole, you may pick up your ball without affecting your team’s net score for that hole. However, your individual score for that event will not be counted towards Championship rankings unless you complete all 18 holes.

  • Any ties will be decided by a putt-off on the practice green, whenever possible.

  • If a putt-off is not possible, we will go to a scorecard playoff. All members of the teams involved must be present in order to participate in any form of playoff.

  • All Local and USGA rules apply.

  • NO “gimme” putts. Ball in hole.

  • All OB’s will be played as lateral hazards.

SCORE KEEPING PROCEDURES

  • Each golfer will be responsible for entering GROSS scores for each individual in their group to the corresponding row. (Remember, you are all responsible for protecting the field. Please do your absolute best to record accurate scores for each member of your group.)

  • At the end of the round, each golfer will hand in their scorecard to a member of the Executive Board.

  • Team NET scores will then be tallied to determine that event’s winner.

  • Individual rankings will be calculated and posted to the google document and website by the following day for everyone to see.
